        Hi Jacob,

        please download version 0.7e and try this:

        OutputHeight = 1024
        OutputWidth = 0
        ForceSize = 1

        After that you will have an image of exactly 1024 pixels of height and
        an unkown number of pixels od width. Therefore you need to set:

        FillHeight = 0
        FillWidth = 1280

        This gives you, what you want!

        The other parameters leave with zero:

        FrameTopBottom = 0
        FrameLeftRight = 0
        FrameCentral = 0

        I suppose, you prefere a black framing, so please set:

        FrameColorRed = 0
        FrameColorGreen = 0
        FrameColorBlue = 0

        Greetings

          ---------------------------------------------------------------------

          Hallo zusammen,
          die nächste Version (0.7f) ist online

          Jakob, für den Viewer gibt es eine neue Einstellung mit
          CroppOutput=3: Damit braucht nicht mehr zwischen Portrait- und
          Panorambildern unterschieden werden:

          Bitte setze:

          CroppOutput = 3
          OutputHeight = 1024
          OutputWidth = 1280
          ForceSize = 1

          und es werden Bilder mit folgenden Größen erzeugt:

          Portrait:
          Height gleich 1024
          Width kleiner als 1280
          Panorama:
          Height kleiner als 1024
          Width gleich 1280

          Mit den weiteren Einstellungen:

          FillHeight = 1024
          FillWidth = 1280

          haben die Ergebnisse immer 1024x1280 Pixels, Portraitbilder
          haben schwarze Streifen links und rechts, Panoramabilder haben
          schwarze Streifen oben und unten

          Ich hoffe, das passt zu dem Viewer!

          ---

          Uwe, wir haben in Neu-Isenburg über eine neue Rahmungsart gesprochen,
          bitte schaue doch mal EstimateWindow=3 an. Damit wird der
          Fernpunktabstand auf 1/25 der Bildbreite eingefroren.

          ---

          Im Startmenü findet sich jetzt auch ein Eintrag "Parameter Hilfe", ich
          denke, das ist für alle brauchbar!

          Das war's für diesmal
          Gerhard

          ========================================================================

          Hi all together,
          the next version (0.7f) is online.

          For changes - as always - please see
          http://www.herbig-3d.de/cosima/releases.html

          Here are some further comments from me:

          Jacob, for your viewer there is a new setting
          with CroppOutput=3: No further need to distinguish between
          portrait and panorama images:

          Please set
          CroppOutput = 3
          OutputHeight = 1024
          OutputWidth = 1280
          ForceSize = 1

          and you get images with the following sizes:

          portrait:
          Height equal 1024
          Width less than 1280
          panorama:
          Height less than 1024
          Width equal 1280

          With the further setting of:

          FillHeight = 1024
          FillWidth = 1280

          The results always have 1024x1280 pixels, portrait images with
          black stripes on the left and right, panorama images with black
          stripes on the top and bottom.

          I hope, that matches your needs!

          ---

          Uwe, in NeuIsenburg we talked about a new kind of stereo window setting.
          Please try EstimateWindow=3 for that. This setting will cut the far
          point distance to 1/25 of the image width.

          ---

          At the start menu, you can now find an entry "Parameter help", I
          suppose, that can be helpful for all.

          So long
          Gerhard
