Hi again,

After today first day back to work, boy am I tired. It feels akward, driving
trough the US gave me energy, now I realise how much I must have been driven by
adrenaline.
The OTP-trip is more or less over, but it’s found his way to become a part of
me, it doesn’t feel over. And luckily, I can ride the bike every day, even if
it is only to work.
Belgium feels very small (and a little cold) now, driving trough it takes only
about half a day... Having experienced OTP I feel even more as before not
belonging to a country or hanging on to a nationality, but being just someone
longing for space. Now I must try to bring this over to Marijke, hoping she
will like to share new experiences of this kind. (I’m considering buying a
more comfy seat, so she will not have to suffer)
On the other hand, I also enjoy being with my kids and family, sharing a glimpse
of what this month ment to me.
Bernd and me have made it home without any important issues. We found out the
roads in Slovakia are even bumpier as road 100 in Vermont (before flooding).
Along both rallies I lost some items: a set of ear plugs, shampoo, 1 glove, a
red reflector... but I got back much much more, not belonging to a material
world.

OTP is finally done, after arriving home from GCE Rally at Monday 16:00 pm.

I did nearly 14.000 kms within a month.
