Hi,
I´m Mariano Gil from the tango group CUESTA ARRIBA, we play
guitar, double-bass and bandoneon argentinian tango from different time periods. We
will be in Europe on april, we have already confirmed venues in Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Italy.
Our repertoire includes classics of the traditional tango, such as "La Cumparsita", "Taconeando", "Sur" or "El Choclo", and also more modern
tangos, such as "Adiós Nonino", "A Evaristo Carriego" or "Libertango" from Astor Piazzolla. The tangos we play can be danced and we have already played in different european tango milongas in 2005: Aarhus (Denmark), Malmö, Goteborg, Stockholm (Sweden), Barcelona (Spain), Augsburg, Nuremberg (Germany), Brescia, Trento, Florencia (Italy) and Reykjavik (Iceland).
