CUESTA ARRIBA Tangos from Argentina.
Hi,
I´m Mariano Gil from
the tango group CUESTA ARRIBA, we play bandoneon, guitar and double-bass
argentinian tango from different time periods. We will be in Europe on the second half
of march and april, we have already confirmed venues in Spain,Sweden and
Italy.
Our repertoire includes classics
of the traditional tango, such as “La Cumparsita”, “Taconeando”, “Sur” or “El Choclo”, and also more modern tangos, such as “Adiós Nonino” or
“Libertango” from Astor Piazzolla. The tangos we play can be danced and we have already played in different european tango milongas in 2005: Aarhus (Denmark); Malmo,
Estocolmo, Gotemburgo (Sweden); Barcelona (Spain); Augsburg, Nuremberg (Germany);
Brescia, Trento, Florencia (Italy) and Reykyavik (Iceland).
